I am therefore so proud to be writing this for Shelling Peanuts and Stringing Words – Kashiana Singh’s debut poetry collection with illustrations by Japneet Kaur. The book represents Mogul in many ways, and I so greatly support these two women and their collaboration. The poetry collection stands out to me for the following reasons:

– It represents my core mantra about having and pursuing a side hustle: Kashiana Singh is a full-time management professional and has made her poetry dream come to life through the Mogul platform and now this book! Japneet is an artist and has been opening herself to opportunities like this to paint, illustrate, and draw life.

– The collaboration beautifully comes to life through the 8 sections: the refreshing, honest voice of Kashiana’s poetry and the sincerity through Japneet’s illustrations. As Moguls, they show again that we can rise and grow faster together.

– The Section Pedagogy of Permissions and the special support the poems have received from Farhan Akhtar, Actor, Writer, and Director in Bollywood, India. He is also the Founder of the MARD Initiative which resonates with our value of being a catalyst for change.
